Research-Based Answers to Your Pelvic Health Questions

As effective as the medical system is with trauma and acute illness, for the chronic conditions women routinely suffer, sadly they are worse than useless, performing dangerous and notoriously unreliable surgeries on women who have trusted the medical system to do right by them.

By in large, the people who work in medicine are smart, capable, hard working and well-meaning. But the system itself is deeply corrupt and controlled by the drug and surgical cartels whose sole interest is corporate profits. Medical doctors are trapped in a system in which they dare not step outside of the established "standards of care," even when those standards virtually guarantee a lifetime of suffering or reduced quality of life for women.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse

If you have been told your prolapse is the result of childbirth, "relaxed ligments", weak pelvic floor muscles, take a deep breath...Prolapse is not your fault.

For generations, women have been told to tuck their bottoms, pull in their bellies, and pull their shoulders back. This profoundly unnatural conformation of the female body is demonstrably the root cause of pelvic organ prolapse. "Change the posture, change the prolapse" has been the foundation of Christine's work.

Urinary Incontinence

A condition closely related to pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, can be either leakage or increasing urgency over time to the point of loss of urinary control.

As with prolapse, the medical approaches are notoriously ineffective and all too often result in a lifetime of suffering for women. Christine's video course, The Whole Woman Solution to Urinary Incontinence can restore complete control with her specialized and unique "Pee on - Pee off" exercise program.

Chronic Knee & Hip Pain

In 2012, Christine noticed comments from women on the Whole Woman forum that not only was their prolapse much improved, their hip pain had disappeared!

Suspicious that prolapse and hip pain were related to the same root cause, Christine spent over a year researching the issue and published the Save Your Hips book and companion video in 2013. The book was a finalist in both Foreward Reviews and Eric Hoffer awards for independent publishers.

Vulva Vaginal Problems

Lichen sclerosis, bacterial vaginosis, and vulvadynia are miseries that can impact the lives of women at any age. After menopause, vaginal dryness, vaginal atrophy, itching, and burning are common. These conditions are often treated hormonally. But research shows these hormones pass directly into the blood stream, making them dangerous for older women. Fortunately, Christine has researched the biochemistry of the vagina and developed safe and natural alternatives.

About Whole Woman Founder Christine Kent

In the early '90s while finishing up her nursing education, Christine was diagnosed with a large uterine fibroid. Told by three gynecologists that she must have a hysterectomy, she refused, opting instead for laser surgery to remove the fibroid. Her surgeon, when told about her minor urinary incontinence suggested that "while he was in there anyway" he could tuck up her bladder and solve the problem.

What he failed to tell her was that the "state of the art" procedure he promised virtually always results in a profound uterine prolapse, as it did in Christine's case.

Again, she refused the hysterectomy she was told was now essential. Christine spent years working on the problem, both through in-depth research in the medical library and through dance, exercise, and body work.

Little by little, the pieces of the puzzle came together and as Christine began applying what she had learned to her own condition, she realized she was regaining control of her body and her life. She published her book Saving the Whole Woman to pull together all the research that went into her breakthrough.

Unsure if she could teach other women what she had learned, she put up the first wholewoman.com web site with an online forum and day after day instructed women on what to do. Within weeks, women began joyfully reporting significant improvements in their prolapse.

Christine has since created a series of videos with a variety of exercise programs and information to address urinary incontinence, chronic hip pain, and vulva vaginal issues.

Christine began training Whole Woman Practitioners in 2011 and now has active Practitioners in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Ghana, and cities and towns in the US.

So much value in one place!

I feel like there are not enough words to describe gratefulness to Christine for publishing her knowledge and creating this helpful and specific place for women. I have never regretted my decision to take this non-invasive route since I found it; and I cannot imagine living my life with a schedule of surgeries ahead.
